The Conjuring Soundtrack

The 2013 film, “The Conjuring,” directed by the horror maestro James Wan, has been the epicenter of modern horror, giving fans chills down their spines, and introducing us to the deeply chilling Annabelle. The film delved deep into the supernatural occurrences surrounding the Perron family.

But what’s a horror movie without its soundtrack? It’s the music that truly makes you grip your seat, heightening every emotion.

About the Composer: Joseph Bishara

Joseph Bishara is no stranger to crafting the eerie, haunting notes that accompany horror films. Having previously collaborated with James Wan on “Insidious” in 2011, Bishara was brought on board for “The Conjuring” even before the cameras started rolling.

The score was a result of an extensive process, recorded across various iconic studios such as Warner Bros. Eastwood Scoring Stage, Signature Sound Studios, and Capitol Studios. Bishara didn’t just rely on the script or the scenes; he visited the sets, connected with the characters, and even met with Lorraine Warren, understanding the depth of the story he was setting his score to.
